Miami Parking Authority (MPA) today announced that it has partnered with SpotHero, a North American digital parking reservation company, to elevate the customer experience.
According to a CNBC report, SpotHero has booked more than $1 billion in online parking reservations from at least 10 million drivers across 300 cities in the U.S. and Canada since its launch in 2011.
This collaboration is projected to leverage additional convenience for MPA customers and parkers who visit the city of Miami, where the authority manages its parking operations. Customers can locate and book a parking space from the convenience of their mobile phones or by visiting https://spothero.com. The following MPA facilities will accept SpotHero reservations in the following locations:

“Miami’s population continues to grow and transform the urban living experience, including how people park,” said Alejandra “Alex” Argudin, MPA’s Chief Executive Officer. “As new platforms emerge, the decision to integrate leading-edge smart city solutions into the authority’s parking technology portfolio is a top priority designed to accommodate the needs of today’s and future generations.”
As cities worldwide grow exponentially, traditional parking models will continue to be challenged. Crystallizing a vision of an efficient, mobile, and sustainable ecosystem will require smart city technologies that optimize the customer parking experience and enhance urban mobility.
“Miami continues to be at the forefront of smart city solutions with a growing population and tech-forward consumer focus,” said SpotHero Founder and CEO Mark Lawrence. “We’re thrilled to partner with the Miami Parking Authority making it easier for Greater South Florida’s population along with out-of-state visitors to park in Miami. These parking technology solutions will not only assist with the needs of today but also future generations.”
