How much does it cost?
Participants will be invoiced once per quarter for time spent at parking regulated spaces. Rates for on-street parking will adhere to existing city rates.

Participants will not need to pay each time they park at a metered space. Instead, parking fees will be calculated automatically and invoiced quarterly. This will save you time and help you avoid parking tickets.
Where is the pilot area?
The digital smart zone pilot area will encompass on-street metered or PayByPhone zones in the Downtown and Brickell neighborhoods.
How is data shared and what will it be used for?
Parking GPS location information will be used to inform future changes to Miami’s curb space allocations for commercial loading zones. GPS location information will also be used for billing purposes. Personally Identifiable Information will not be shared directly with the City nor made available for any other use.GPS location information should be shared using the open data standard Curb Data Specification Events format. You may enroll in this program using your own fleet GPS/Telematics provider, a list of the program technical requirements is maintained here.
