The Miami Parking Authority (MPA) has been monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) from federal, state, and local health officials. We are prepared to implement safety recommendations and quickly activating all our resources. The safety and well-being of our staff and customers is of the utmost importance. MPA stands ready and is preparing for all possible local impacts from the Coronavirus. We have a plan in place to mitigate any possible spread and keep our facilities clean and operational as needed.
We have implemented the following measures that are already in effect throughout our facilities:
- We are regularly cleaning all touch points in all our facilities including, but not limited to, elevators, pay on foot machines, handrails, door handles, charging stations, among others.
- We have placed hand sanitizing machines on the elevator landings throughout all our facilities.
The MPA is operating business as usual and will do so unless we are mandated to do otherwise. We will keep our customers abreast of any changes via our website and social media sites.
There have been no Coronavirus cases reported at the MPA.
