Vera Murillo, Enforcement Officer, was presented with a 5 Year Service Award by Humberto Escandon, Senior Manager of Operations. Ms Murillo was described by Mr. Escandon as a very "customer service oriented" Officer who has shown much respect to the customers as well as to the Authority. Congratulations Ms Murillo for your hard work and dedication.

Alejandra Argudin, Chief Operating Officer, was presented with a 5 Year Service Award by Art Noriega, Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Noriega noted that  Ms Argudin started off with no background in the parking industry but City and political world knowledge but Ms Argudin brought her useful skills and ingenuity into the Organization.  She was not afraid to answer questions or look for opportunities. Ms Argudin brings "energy" to the job. Congratulations Ms Argudin for your hard work and dedication.

Socorro Pereza, Human Resources Manager, was presented with a 10 Year Service Award by Angela Hernandez, Director of Human Resources. Ms Perez started working as Ms Hernandez "right-hand person" from the beginning. She has displayed what is described by Mrs. Hernandez  a "calm and collected personality."  Ms Perez is extremely professional and great with the employees. She has displayed what is "needed in HR". Congratulations Ms Perez for your hard work and dedication.

Leonard Allen, IT Manager, was presented with a 10 Year Service Award by Lavern D. Smith- Lawrence. Ms Smith-Lawrence best described Mr. Allen as the "Backbone of the IT department". Mr. Allen provides high availability and productivity to the department. Mr. Allen ensures that the reliability of the day to day computer operation for the Agency is always at 100% and beyond. Congratulations Mr. Allen for your hard work and dedication.

Angela Hernandez, Human Resource Director, was presented with a 10 Year Service Award by Art Noriega. Known to be "Passionate...and levelheaded" Ms Hernandez has been a great resource to the agency and she has an abundance of respect from her peers.  Ms Hernandez is expected to continue to provide excellent work as the Director of HR. Congratulations Ms Hernandez for your hard work and dedication.

Rolando Tapanes, Director of Planning & Development, was presented with a 5 Year Service Award by Alejandra Argudin.  Know as the "voice" of Miami Parking Authority; Mr. Tapanes has shown "dedication, loyalty, and commitment" to his work and to his peer. In his five years he has established a "special bond" with those that work with him. Ms Argudin commented that “ if I'm going to go to battle, I want to go to battle with someone like him." Ms. Argudin stated that she believes that Mr. Tapanes is a good representative as the "Voice & Face" of Miami Parking Authority. Congratulations Mr. Tapanes for your hard work and dedication.

Arnaldo Iglesias, Maintenance, was presented with a 20 Year Service Award by Elmer Arias. Mr. Iglesias  was described as a "dependable  and very reliable employee who is performing a fantastic job for the Authority”. Congratulations Mr. Iglesias for your hard work and dedication. 

Margaret Buttery, Enforcement Officer, was presented a 25 Year Service Recognition Award by her Supervisor Humberto Escandon. According to Mr. Escandon, "She's a person that I can go ahead and assign any area to; any type of work and I know the job get done..." Congratulations Ms. Buttery for your hard work and dedication.

Hector Rivera, Meter Technician, was presented a 5 Year Recognition Award by Angel Diaz. Hector Rivera started off as a part-time meter collector. Mr. Rivera work hard into becoming a full time technician showing excellent skills and abilities. According to Mr. Diaz, “He’s a Great employee and a good addition to the team”. Congratulations Mr. Rivera for your hard work and dedication.

Alfredo Milian, Electrician, was presented a 5 Year Recognition Award by Elmer Arias. Mr. Milian demonstrates the knowledge and expertise of an engineer. He does a great job with his work throughout all the facilities. Congratulations Mr. Milian for your hard work and dedication.

Scott Simpson, Chief Financial Officer, was presented a 5 Year Recognition Award by CEO Art Noriega. According to Mr. Noriega, Mr. Simpson employment with the Agency has been a “great resource” and he has a "profound amount of respect for his talent, skills set, and the job he does."
