MPA recognizes the years of service worked by employees during the Board Meeting scheduled on the first Wednesday of the month. Here are the 2012 recognitions.

Monica Cuadra, Executive Administrative Assistant, was presented with a 15 Year Service Award by Alejandra Argudin, Chief Development Officer.  Monica Cuarda’s  15 years of experience makes her “the go to person in regards to information”. Ms Cuadra is very  helpful to her co-workers and her boss and she is truly a valuable  person in the company. Congratulations Ms. Cuadra for your hard work and dedication.


Lorena Navarrete, Customer Service Supervisor, was presented with a 5 Years Service Award by Rolando Tapanes, Director of Planning & Development. Ms Navarrete initially started as a Customer Service Representative, Ms. Navarrete was promoted to the Supervisor position as a testimony of her hard work and dedication working in the department. Mr. Tapanes stated that Ms. Navarrete has "been vital to keeping the department going. We've had lots of vacancies, lots of changes and she has helped to smooth that out." Congratulations Ms. Navarrete for your hard work and dedication.





Jessica Lokitis, Customer Risk Service Manager, was presented with a 5 Years Service Award by Juan Perez, Manager of Parking Operation of JMH. Ms Lokitis started on the job “ counting money and auditing, moved up to the assistant customer service, and to being a Customer Risk Service Manager. She's come a long way, and she's an integral part of what we do." Mr. Perez complimented Ms. Lokitis on the accomplishments she achieved in such a short amount of time.  Congratulations Ms. Lokitis for your hard work and dedication.


Eric Thomas, Parking Attendant Supervisor, was presented with a 5 Years Service Award by Juan Perez, Manager of Parking Operation of JMH. According to Mr. Perez "Mr. Thomas has been there all along through the hardships of changing equipment, and changing staff and making everything happen”. Mr. Perez stated that Mr. Thomas “has done an excellent job for us and I'm really happy he's with us." Congratulations Mr. Thomas for your hard work and dedication.


Juan Perez, Manager of Parking Operation of Jackson Memorial Hospital, was presented with a 5 Year Service Award by Alejandra Argudin Chief Development Officer. Ms Argudin mentioned that for 5 Years Mr. Perez has been doing a "phenomenal job" as Manager for JMH and continue to gain respect from his peer in dealing with the contract with Jackson. Ms Argudin feels confident in his ability to continue  and  displays her appreciation for his work and dedication for the company. Ms Argudin expressed her hope for Mr. Perez  to have many more successful years to come. Congratulations Mr. Perez for your hard work and dedication.

Humberto Escandon, Enforcement & Special Events Manager, was presented with a 15 Year Service Award by Alejandra Argudin Chief Development Officer. According to Ms. Argudin: “Mr. Escandon is one of these employees who never say no to anything. He make makes sure, no matter what you ask him, he's there. He doesn't tell me can I do it tomorrow, later. It doesn't matter what time he has to work. His employees have a great deal of respect for him and his team appreciates the work he's done”. Congratulations Mr. Escandon for your hard work and dedication.

Delia Dominguez, Office Manager, was presented with a 5 Year Service Award by Rolando Tapanes, Director of Planning & Development. Ms Dominguez started as a Purchasing Secretary. She quickly shows her abilities and her role grew until an Office Manager Position was created to "encompass" her. According to Mr. Tapanes "She looks for the best price, and she really lives what she practices." Congratulations Ms Dominguez for your hard work and dedication.

 

Santiago Jiron, Accounting Clerk, was presented with a 5 Year Service Award by Juan Perez, Manager of Parking Operations JMH. Mr. Jiron was described by Mr. Perez as a honest person and he insures that everything is right. "Mr. Jiron has shown great charisma to his fellow employees". Congratulations Mr. Jiron for your hard work and dedication.

Ela Gonzalez, Accounting Clerk, was presented with a 5 Year Service Award by Margie Carmenates, Controller. Ms Gonzalez was described as a "team-oriented person" and has  shown great work dealing with her responsibilities. Ms. Gonzalez is a great "asset  to our team." Congratulations Mr. Gonzalez for your hard work and dedication.

 

Humberto Escandon, Senior Manager of Operation, was presented with a recognition award by Art Noriega on behalf of the Miami Police Department. The Coconut Grove Commander felt the need to recognize Mr. Escandon for his hard work and going above and beyond the call of duty to assist and interact with City Departments, Agencies and Staff. Congratulations Mr. Escandon for your hard work and dedication.
