JAMI REYES, Chairperson of the MPA Board of Directors, is president of the government relations/corporate communications firm Jami Reyes & Co., specializing in the real estate and development sectors. Ms. Reyes is a Director of the Latin Builders Association (LBA) where she serves as co-chair of the Membership Committee. She is also a member of the Editorial Board of Proyecto, the magazine of the Latin Builders Association. In 2002, Miami Mayor Manny Diaz appointed Reyes to the City of Miami Homeland Defense / Neighborhood Improvement Bond Oversight Board where she chairs the Communications sub-committee. Elected in 2003.

  

Arthur Hertz

ARTHUR H. HERTZ  is Chairman and CEO of Wometco Enterprises, Inc., a private company that owns the Miami Seaquarium, among other businesses. Mr. Hertz is a certified public accountant and serves on numerous civic and professional organizations including the Miami-Dade County Public Health Trust, the Mitchell Wolfson Family Foundation, the University of Miami and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. He is past president of the Orange Bowl Committee. Elected in 1987.  

  

Marlon Hill

MARLON A. HILL is Founding Partner of the law firm delancyhill, PA, focusing on general corporate, entertainment/intellectual property, immigration, and international business and trade law. Mr. Hill is a past president of the Caribbean Bar Association and member of the Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. Bar Association, inaugural member of the Dade Community Foundation Miami Fellows Initiative, board member of the Jay Malina International Trade Consortium and Miami Light Project. He is the host a weekly radio program, Caribbean Crossroads, on News/Talk 1080AM WTPS, every Saturday at 6pm, and is the Jamaican Diaspora Advisory Board Member for the Southern United States.  Elected in 2003. 

 

Thomas B. Jelke

THOMAS B. JELKE, Ph.D. is President and CEO of t.jelke solutions, a consulting firm offering assessment, curriculum development, research, strategic planning and leadership training services for universities, non-profits, and fraternal organizations. Dr. Jelke was born and raised in the city of Miami and he has taught at Florida State University, Indiana University, and Florida International University. Dr. Jelke is the Chairman of the board of the Association of Fraternity Advisors Foundation and also the Thomas B. Jelke Foundation. He also serves on an advisory board for the Actor’s Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre. Elected in 2005. 

 

Stephen Nostrand

STEPHEN NOSTRAND is Executive Vice President-Colliers Manager at Colliers International South Florida. He has been a South Florida resident for 35 years and a commercial real estate executive for more than 30 years, focusing on investment sales, financing and project management for development clients. Mr. Nostrand was a founder of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, served as its chairman for two years and currently serves on its board of directors. He also chairs the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Ground Transportation Committee and the Miami-Dade County Taxi Advisory Committee, and is treasurer of the Greater Miami and the Beaches Hotel Association. Elected in 2007.
